| Published: 9th February 2010 22:43 |
The people of Ayrshire are being asked to have a 10 minute teabreak on Friday 5 March by Quarriers.
Quarriers is a Scottish charity providing practical support to: Adults, with learning disabilities, acquired brain injury or complex physical disabilities; children and families, struggling in the face of everyday issues relating to disability, poverty or addiction; people with epilepsy, seeking diagnosis, support and independent living; young adults with real and serious needs relating to abuse, trauma, homelessness and social exclusion.
This is the third year of the Quarriers 10 minute teabreak and the charity would like to make it the biggest one yet! AboutMyArea South Ayrshire would encourage you want you to hold as many 10 minute teabreaks as possible around the area on Friday the 5th of March and help to raise the necessary funds to continue to impact upon the lives of over 17,000 people.
