17 June: Fathers' Classic Day Out Moves Venue

Classic cars on display The Greenwood Exhibitions Fathers' Classic Day Out event scheduled to take place this Sunday, 17th June, at Woburn Abbey, has been relocated to a new site within Woburn Safari Park due to the poor condition of the Woburn Abbey grounds after days of heavy rain.

The Classic Day Out promises to be full and fun packed for all the family with lots of entertainment including:
‘Live' Top Trumps
Performances from the Ampthill Rock Choir
Face painting and children's attractions
100s of vintage and classic vehicles on display
All pre-booked vehicles will be allowed entrance to all the park facilities and have the option of joining a free parade tour of the safari park enclosures at 5pm. This tour takes place just after the Concours d'Elegance award ceremony held over from the Classic Motor Show at Woburn that was washed out in May. Exhibitor tickets from that event may be used for entry to the Fathers' Classic Day Out so long as entry is made before 11am on the day.
Public entry to the Classic Day Out (and for classic car entries which have not been pre-booked) will be £8 for adults, £7 for seniors and £2 for children aged 3-15 years. Tickets may be upgraded to give entrance to the Safari Park attractions.
All exhibiting vehicles should follow the directions given on their exhibitor passes and then follow signs for Exhibitor/Trade while all public visitors should follow the sign to the ‘Go Ape' entrance or use satnav postcode MK43 0XB.
Gates open at 10am and the show closes at 4pm. Timetables and attractions may vary dependent on weather conditions. Full details are on the Greenwood Exhibitions website: www. classicmotorevents.co.uk.
