Detectives in Bedford are appealing for information after computer equipment thought to be worth £500,000 was stolen during a burglary on 1 July.
The burglary happened at Blue Chip Engineering on Stannard Way, Priory Park between 12.15am and 12.29am when the offenders entered the property by smashing a large window.
The IT equipment was then removed from the scene and the officer in charge of this investigation, Detective Constable Darren Armitage, is keen to trace anyone who can help identify those responsible and anyone who can help locate the stolen equipment.
DC Armitage said: "We believe three people wearing hooded tops were seen in a black Audi estate in Priory Business Park between 11pm and midnight the same night and I would appeal to anyone who saw this vehicle or anyone who has information as to the whereabouts of the equipment to speak to the police in confidence."
Anyone with information about this crime can contact DC Armitage, in confidence, on 01234 275291, or Bedfordshire Police on 101, or text information to 07786 200011.
Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
