Turn the pounds you lose into ££s for children in Slimathon for NSPCC

Do you want to lose weight in 2010? Then the NSPCC needs you! The charity is calling on slimmers and people wanting to get healthy to put their weight behind Slimming World's annual sponsored slim and raise money for vulnerable children and young people.
Throughout March you are invited to visit your local Slimming World group and sign up for a six-week sponsored slim in aid of the children's charity. The Slimathon is open to everyone, members and non-members, so why not encourage your friends and family to take up the challenge too?
Whether you are looking to burn off the winter calories or need a kick start to get the diet set in motion, get down to your local Slimming World and pick up a sponsor form. Visit www.slimmingworld.co.uk to find your nearest group or email slimathon@slimmingworld.com Then all you need to do is ask your friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you before getting started! Slimmers taking part will also get a free weigh-in at the beginning and end of the six weeks.
All the money raised will go towards Slimming World's very own charity, SMILES (Slimmers Making It a Little Easier for Someone), and the NSPCC's Child's Voice Appeal which will help to expand the NSPCC's vital helplines - ChildLine, the UK's free, confidential 24-hour helpline for children, and NSPCC Helpline, for adults who are concerned about a child.
