Retired & Senior Volunteer Programme
(RSVP)

RSVP is part of the CSV (Community Service Volunteers) for the over 50s, or retired, who do voluntary work in the local community
RSVP is part of Community Service Volunteers (CSV). It is for anyone over 50 with time and energy to spare, who wants to become involved in their local community.
Local RSVP organisers recruit volunteers to fulfil the needs of charities, hospitals, schools and other organisations. They also ensure that all volunteers have proper training and support and that they are covered by the RSVP insurance.
In Sandy we have more than 60 members who help in schools, with community and environmental projects, knitting and other interesting projects.
The Sandy Group members enjoy various social events during the year and always have the support and encouragement of the local organisers.
