1 July: Magpas Patron to hold exclusive fundraising event this Sunday, 1st July

Zandra RhodesThe event will be raising funds for Magpas - The Emergency Medical Charity. As a patron of Magpas Lady Linda Vane Percy will be displaying her collection of Zandra Rhodes couture dresses, jewellery and accessories.
To be held on the beautiful Island at Island Hall in Godmanchester, near Huntingdon, a seated three-course luncheon with wine will be served and other refreshments offered throughout the day. British Fashion Designer Zandra Rhodes, CBE will be in attendance lending her support to Magpas and giving a talk. Zandra is one of our most distinct British Fashion Designers and has stamped her identity on the international worlds of both Fashion & Opera.
Lady Linda who was involved in a road traffic collision in May of this year sadly now knows the Magpas service first hand, Lady Linda when recently interviewed said:
"I have been a great supporter of theirs for many years I was so pleased they came, I love my Magpas."
Lady Linda said she did not think the accident was ever going to stop as her Smart car flipped over and the windows began to smash. She said: "My mouth was full of broken glass and my hand was bleeding profusely."
She was removed from the vehicle by Magpas on a spinal board before being taken to hospital. Lady Linda praised Magpas and the emergency services, saying: "They were so marvellous, all of them.
Magpas has been saving lives for over 40 years and has incredibly come to the rescue of over 50,000 people! Magpas Helimedix work alongside the emergency services to provide the only charity, enhanced medical team available both night and day in the East of England.
International Author Ms Helena Mathepoulos, Editor of Greek Vogue will also be in attendance supporting Magpas and discussing Zandra's celebrated set.
