DUNTON VILLAGE NEWS & EVENTS
WE 1 JULY 2011 

AMICI SINGERS CONCERT:  It was a "full house" at the Church last weekend as we were treated to an enjoyable evening of varied choral music.

CHURCH QUIZ NIGHT:   The quiz night at the Church is this Saturday, July 2 at 7.30pm.The cost is £3.00 per person for teams of up to 8.  Take your own drinks and nibbles but glasses will be provided...  If you are not part of a team still go along and help form a team on the night.   It helps administration if you book your team in beforehand - contact Sue Myler - tel 01767 600373.

LINDSAY'S ANNIVERSARY:   There will be a special Patronal Benefice Service this Sunday,  July 3 at 10.30 am in Wrestlingworth Parish Church,  to mark the 25th Anniversary of Lindsay's Ordination This will be followed by a bring and share lunch in the village hall.  If you would like more details please contact either Shirley Tant - 01767 316948 or Sue Myler 01767 600373.

PUB QUIZ:  The next village quiz is in The March Hare this Sunday (July 3) at 7.30pm. All welcome - just turn up and join in.

Dunton Village HallDunton Village HallVILLAGE HALL: The Village Hall Committee is all standing down as of December 31 2011. There is a meeting next Wednesday, July 6 at the hall to give an opportunity to Dunton Residents over the age of 18 to attend and form a new committee. It starts at 7.30pm and they look forward to welcoming you there.

DUNTON COMMUNITY GARDEN: Are continuing to celebrate the 10th anniversary. The next event is an Open Picnic on Sunday, July 10 from 12 noon - 3pm See http://www.duntoncommunitygarden.org/ for more information about the garden.

FLOWER FESTIVAL: To celebrate St Mary Magdalene's Day There will be a Flower Festival / Open Weekend at the Church on July 16 - 17. The displays, based on the theme "Saints" will be by organizations and individuals.

DUNTON PAVILION: The pavilion is open every Tuesday morning from 11-12 for tea / coffee. Why not pop in for a cuppa and a chat?

BABY AND TODDLERS:   Meet every Wednesday morning from 9.00 to 11.00a.m at the Church during term time for an informal get together where you can meet and chat. There is no charge and refreshments are provided. For more information contact Sue Gill on 01767 312302 or Shirley Tant 01767 316948

SUNDAY SERVICE - Parish Church.  This Sunday is a Benefice Patronal Service at Wrestlingworth - 10.30 am - All welcome
