Assault in Friar Street, Reading

The incident happened in Friar Street outside Shipleys Amusement Centre at 1.30am.
The victim, a 27-year-old Whitley man, was standing with his girlfriend, when he was approached by a man who punched him in the face.
The victim sustained a fractured eye socket in the incident.
Det Con Pete Watts, from Reading CID, said: "We believe that the offender had an argument with another man shortly before he punched the victim. We are keen to speak to him and a group of two women and a man who comforted the victim."
The offender is white, with blond hair, around 25-years-old, and he was wearing a yellow T-shirt.
