James Freeman, Chief Executive of Reading Buses said: "Reading is the first major town in the UK outside London to have a bus fleet that is 100per cent accessible, so it's really important to introduce these facilities to the people who are going to get the greatest benefit from them."
Tony Page, Reading's Lead Councillor for Planning and Transport, said: "I hope many people will take time to check out the fantastic facilities on these buses. It will also be useful for the bus team to hear from people with accessibility issues about their experiences using public transport and their ideas on what more can be done to improve their journeys."
