Serious injury collision in Whitley

At around 2.24pm yesterday (8/10), a 24-year-old man riding an off-road scrambler motorbike collided with a telegraph pole in Staverton Road.
He has been taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital with abdominal injuries and his condition is currently
critical but stable. PC Phil Davies, from the Three Mile Cross Roads Policing base, said: "We have spoken to a number of witnesses at the scene but we are still keen to speak to anyone else who saw what happened."
