The burglary happened between Wednesday (8/10) between 7pm and 9am Thursday (9/10) and the offenders stole the victim's car keys and car from the drive.
They also stole a laptop and 4,000 Taiwenese dollars which were being stored in the vehicle.
The vehicle is a Mazda RX8.
Case Investigator Daren Bates, from the Reading Priority Crime, said: "These dollars are not the normal run of the mill currency held by Bureau de Change offices.
"We would ask that if anyone does receive such currency to contact police via the non-emergency number on 0845 8 505 505."
If you don't want to talk to police and don't want to leave your name call the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
