The Songs Of James Taylor Fundraiser

The popular classic songs of legendary singer James Taylor, performed by Stony Stratford musician Ian Entwistle, will be a very special concert held at Paulerspury Village Hall, Paulerspury on Saturday 14th May. Ian raised £750 for Willen Hospice by putting on a similar show at Paulerspury in January 2010 and is hoping to exceed that amount for his chosen charity this year, The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.
Ian began learning to play guitar at the tender age of 14 and was inspired during the 60's and 70's by musicians such as John Martyn, Neil Young and Bob Dylan. Since then Ian has sung and played in many different bands from Irish, Scottish, English and French Folk to American Country.
For this show, Ian will be joined by four backing vocalists and a bass player. There will be a bar for refreshments and a raffle to help raise more funds for this worthy charity.
Tickets are £7.50 and doors will open at 8pm.
Visit Ian's website to find out more about the event or to buy tickets on line. Telephone: 01908 563944/07940 852110 or email: irenetaylor@tinyworld.co.uk for more information.
