Sun Postal 2
SSTFC Reserves 2
Stony Stratford reserves had a terrible start to their second league game of the season with their two centre backs crashing into each other on their way to Sun Postal.
With this delay the squad only turned up 20 minutes before kick off so were only able to have a short warm up. 30 minutes into the game Stony reserves were already 2-0 down against an experienced side.
With a lot of heart and determination from the young lads and with Paul Fisher as their inspiration the lads managed get the score back to 2-1 by half time.
Stony continued to battle hard and eventually recieved a penalty with 20 minutes left on the clock. The old head of the team Paul Fisher stepped up and calmly smashed it into the roof of the net.
Stony were then on the back foot for the last 10 minutes of the match where Tom Woodwards made an outstanding save in the dying minutes of the game to seal the draw.
