Towcester Racecourse In Ground Breaking Media Rights Deal

Satellite Information Services and Towcester Racecourse today announce a ground- breaking agreement which will see greyhound racing from the UK’s newest dog track broadcast around the world.
Towcester’s greyhound track is expected to open in May 2013 – the first since Sittingbourne was unveiled in the 1990s. The £1.25m track will be situated on the inside of the racecourse, directly opposite the main grandstand, thereby enabling customers to view the entertainment from the plush surroundings of Towcester’s hospitality and corporate suites, renowned for their first class service.
Towcester is expecting to hold a minimum of three greyhound meetings per week. SIS has a long-standing relationship with Towcester to cover horse racing and has now agreed to a five -year exclusive deal to film, deliver and broadcast greyhound racing on multiple platforms.
Racing from Towcester will be shown on SIS’ selected betting shop services and will also be marketed to digital bookmakers globally.
