Floorball MK
Training Sessions: Every Tuesday, 8-9pm at Leon School.
We have been in Milton Keynes for over ten years and have a teamed made up from both men and woman. You have to be over 14 at the moment to join because of insurance purposes but there's no upper age limit.
Floorball is basically like ice hockey but it is played in a sports hall rather than on an ice rink. It is not as physical as ice hockey which makes it a much friendlier sport for people to come along and try.
We practice every Tuesday night between 20.00 and 21.00 at Leon school in Bletchley.
As we are not playin in a league this season we are keeping this hour as just a fun session with minimal training. We are aiming to have a second, more serious training session, on Thursdays later in March.
We are looking to enter the league again later this year. We have a good mix of new players to the sport and some very experenced players to help new people develop.
Whether people want to come along and just have fun, keepfit, meet new people, or maybe we can help you develop into an international player!
The first 2 sessions are always free so people can come and see if they like it and all equipment is available to borrow to begin with.
All you need bring is indoor training clothes like shorts and t shirt, sturdy trainers and a drink!
