Joanne - I have been running AboutMyArea/PE19 since November 2006 and absolutely love it.  I have met some great people and really enjoy my job.  Prior to this I have worked in various Accounts rolls so this is completely  different to what I had been used to.   I have a family who support me and my business and help out when I ask which is great.    

I want the site to be a one-stop shop for all your community needs, supplying local positive news, events, lists of all clubs and organisations in the area and providing you with local comptitions and offers every month.  With the launch of the new-look sites we are now completely interactive and as a user you can contribute with positive articles, add events that you are organising and chat to other AMAer's.
