Kevin Conway, Ryan Conway, Steve Terreblanche, Mark Slenczka and Daniel ChanA team from River Church are doing a 300 mile Charity Bike Ride from St Neot in Cornwall to St Neots in
Cambridgeshire to raise money for Beating Bowel Cancer and Dan's Fund for Burn Victims.
Between 5th and 8th July 2012 they will be covering 75 miles a day and will be gaining a total of 8,900
vertical feet, which is higher than Snowdon and Ben Nevis put on top of each other.
It was inspired by two things - (1) Pastor Rob McFarlane who received treatment and surgery for Bowel
Cancer in 2011 and (2) The 10 year anniversary of the Bali bombing in which friends of Mark Crawford tragically lost their lives.
Our team from River Church is Mark Crawford, Steve Terreblanche, Ryan Conway, Kevin Conway, Mark Slenczka,
Daniel Chan and Nigel Parker. They will be supported by Rob McFarlane, Mike Thrush and Karl Thrush.
