Submissions invited for the International Movie Trailer Festival

The International Movie Trailer Festival (IMTF) invites filmmakers to
submit trailers for movies they've made or they dream of making. All
genres are accepted, including documentaries and animation. The
contest is open to everyone around the world. Winners will be
Chosen by a jury of industry professionals. They will be considering
films with the following elements:
- Idea (plot or concept)
- Script (including actions and dialogue)
- Content (including actors, interviewees, locations, and other images)
- Cinematography (including framing, lighting, movement)
- Sound recording, creation, and mixing (including dialogue, sound effects, music)
- Editing
Awards total more than $10,000 in cash prizes. The top awards -
including the Grand Prize of $5,000 - will be determined by a jury of
pros including Scott Rosenfelt, producer of Smoke Signals. There's
a student prize of $500 plus a $500 grant for the student's school. Plus,
every entrant will be posted online to be seen by moviegoers, fans,
producers, and industry insiders.
Deadline for trailer submissions is 31 August 2010.
