Queen's Jubilee Bunting Drawing Competition at Balham Sainsbury's

To celebrate the Queens Jubilee this year we are giving the children of Balham and the local community the opportunity to enter a drawing competition.  We will provide the children with one A4 piece of bunting on which they can draw what the Queens Jubilee means to them.  We would like the drawings to be on both sides of the bunting. 

  

The drawing competition is open to children aged 11 and under.  Once we have received all the drawings we are then going to display them in store for all the community to see.  Our aim is to try and get at least 500 different drawings so we can display the bunting in various parts of our store.

  

We will have the bunting on show in store from Saturday 2^nd June for one week.  We will then announce 1^st, 2^nd 3^rd places for our two categories - 5yrs & Under and 11yrs & Under once the week has finished.

  

We hope that you will all join us in celebrating the Queens Jubilee by encouraging the children to design their own piece of bunting and bring it in to the Customer Service Desk at Sainsbury's Balham.  The A4 pieces of bunting will be available for the children and parents to collect in store from Monday 7^th May 2012 at the Customer Service Desk and the closing date to receive the drawings back will be Friday 25^th May 2012.
