Fostering Information Days
| Published: 5th September 2007 12:07 |
Come to our fostering information days in the Civic Suite, next to the Town Hall, and other local venues.
Foster carers come from all backgrounds and religious groups; you can be single or married, working or unemployed, live in council accommodation or have your own home. The most important things are that you are committed to a child who needs care and support and have enough room in your home.
Foster Information Day
They will be there to answer any questions and give you more information about what fostering is all about.
You might want to know about:
- the different types of fostering we offer
- our training programme and what is involved
- the generous allowances we pay
- the support and further training you will get after you become a foster carer.
Drop in any time on the days and times listed below and meet existing foster carers and our staff from the fostering service.
