We're delighted to welcome back Derek Mander and his 'soundproof' trio for a pre-Christmas set of mellow favourites. Many of you may remember Derek and his group from our Jazz and Pimms Night in the summer.
Here's a message from him .... "I have been playing piano since before WW2, in fact my very first efforts were at home. My parents adored music, and frequently brought musicians of the day home; I can recall sitting on Fat's Waller's knee and attempting to play 'Dinah'. Over the past few years "Soundproof" has played some great venues including the London Hilton and the BBC ...... our line-up will include a vocalist and we are all looking forward to our gig at simply books!"
Tuesday 20th November - Two sets: earlyish 7.00pm -8.30pm and later 8.30pm - 10.00pm
