Stockport Heritage Open Days: Thursday 6th September- 9th September

Stockport's most interesting places will open its doors to the public from Thursday 6th September until Sunday 9th September for free this is under Stockport's Heritage Trust Open Days scheme, part of the national scheme organized by the Civic Trust.
Last year the Stockport Heritage Open Days campaign attracted over 8,000 visitors to 21 different sites throughout the borough and this year they hope to beat this record.
Over 25 events will take place between 6th - 9th September, including free access to heritage attractions, cultral sites, guided walks and activities for the family. The Council has been working in conjunction with many partners to put on a variety of events including family and historical activities in churches, town centre walking tours in the area.
