Two young men killed in collision - Cheadle Hulme

Two young men have died after the car they were travelling in was involved in a collision in Cheadle Hulme.
Police were called to the address on Alderdale Road just before 1.00am this morning, Friday 15 August 2008, following reports that the Vauxhall Astra had lost control and overturned, landing in the front garden of a house.
Two people witnessed the collision, and it is believed the car had lost control as it came to the junction of Councillor Lane.
Paramedics attended, but the driver and the passenger were both pronounced dead at the scene.
It is believed that they are two local men, both aged 20.
Inquiries into the cause of the collision were carried out, and the car was found to have been reported stolen from outside a house on Radnormere Drive earlier last night.
The investigation into the exact circumstances of this collision will continue but at this stage it is not believed that any other vehicle was involved.
Nobody else was injured in the collision.
