Why not join in the Heald Green Litter Pick -"Big Tidy Up - Keep Britain Tidy Campaign!" and the Hours 4 Ours AboutMyArea SK8 team on the day. Pledge your 2 hours here (follow this link) and join our Roll of Honour. Feel good about yourself and your community - Come on! What have you got to lose?
Margaret Burns (Ratepayers) says "This is Another chance to help to keep Heald Green tidy by joining in our regular Ratepayers' Litter Pick! This year we shall be part of the national "BIG TIDY UP" organised by Keep Britain Tidy as featured on TV a few weeks ago and we have registered as part of that campaign. You will be provided with sacks and litter pickers and we meet at Cafe Unity on Finney Lane with a welcome drink and cake as a reward".
The Big Tidy Up has been organised by environmental charity ENCAMS who also run Keep Britain Tidy. During the month long tidy up, ENCAMS aims to collect half a million bags of rubbish across the UK.
