Manchester Players Selected For England Counties Squad
Manchester players have been awarded for their superb season by getting 6 players into the England Counties squad for 2008. The England Counties team is a selection of some of the best talent of the national leagues and is picked after a gruelling county competition.
Manchester players selected for this years England Counties Squad tour to the USA and Canada.
L - R:- Matt Owen, Scott Rawlings, Ben Coulbeck, Andre Wilson, Richard Wainwright, Seb Moss and DoR Dave Baldwin who will coach the Counties Squad.
Ben Coulbeck, Scott Rawlings, Andre Wilson, Richard Wainwright, Seb Moss and Matt Owen will embark on a tour of the USA and Canada in June. The 6 are also joined by Manchester's DoR Dave Baldwin who once again takes up coaching duties of England Counties.
The tour will take place throughout June with two games against USA ‘A' in New York (June 6/June 9, kick-off 7pm local time) with a final game against a Canada Select XV in Chatham (June 13, 6.30pm local time).
Congratulations to the 6 and I'm sure all members of Manchester Rugby Club wish them and the rest of the team all the best for their tour of North America.
