Don't forget to vote on May 1st

Local elections take place in Stockport on Thursday 1st May.
Over 28,000 registered electors in the borough - a record - have chosen to vote by post this year. Postal ballot packs are being sent to those electors this week.
If any registered postal voter has not received their postal pack by 25th April, they are asked to phone the elections hotline on 0845 833 0041 between 8.00am-6.00pm Monday to Friday.

To find out about Poll cards have been delivered to over 190,000 registered electors who have opted not to vote by post. People are asked to check the details carefully as there are changes to the location of some polling stations.
Registered electors will be able to vote in the usual way at their specified polling station on 1st May between 7.00am and 10.00pm.
If any registered elector - who is not voting by post - and has not received a poll card, should phone 0845 833 0041. However, as long as you are on the current electoral register, you do not need to be in possession of a poll card to vote on 1st May.
