A rapping robot has been visiting schools in Stockport teaching children the importance of recycling.
Recycler the robot has been brought to schools as part of the Recycle Now campaign in partnership with Stockport Council to teach kids about the three Rs - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
Through his interactive show, Recycler teaches pupils and teachers how they can make a difference at school and at home offering tips and advice on putting the three Rs into practice.
Most schools take advantage of the Council's paper recycling service and at home, residents can use the black box for recycling glass and cans and the white paper sack for their newspapers, magazines and junk mail.
Councillor Stuart Bodsworth, Executive Member for the Environment said: "Recycler the robot has visited schools in Stockport before and is always a massive hit with the kids. This is a fun and innovative way for children to learn the importance of recycling giving them a message they can take home with them."
The Recycler programme is part of the national Recycle Now communications campaign by WRAP and Waste Watch.
