Restaurants in & around Neston
A vibrant new coffee shop come modern bistro is now open in Neston.
Morning Noon Night is the latest venture by Neston residents Ben and Nicola Holroyd. The couple have already successfully launched some Liverpool-based businesses, including the Liverpool Craft Beer Expo and the popular The Cow&Co Café in the city centre, alongside their thriving creative agency SB Studio which turns ten next year.
Now, with young children of their own, the pair were keen to bring a family-friendly addition to Neston's growing food and drink offer.
Morning Noon Night is arranged over three floors at 10 The Cross in Neston town centre. Formerly an estate agency, the building has been completely overhauled and is now beautifully presented in relaxed, understated colours, with warm quarry tiled floors, soft lighting and seating for individuals as well as groups, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The ground floor boasts a 6 metre long counter packed with fresh produce and homebaked goods.
Upstairs, the middle floor offers a home-from-home. Furniture is reclaimed; and, just like the food, sourced within a 25 mile radius making this new venue feel attractively lived in already.
The top floor will open in the new year and offer a space available for local groups and organisations to hire for meetings and other activities. There are also plans for a very special garden room, to be revealed at a later date.
Eating and drinking at Morning Noon Night
As the name suggests, the menu has been designed to work every hour of the day (or nearly every hour).
Early risers in the morning can grab coffee and breakfast from 8am. Sit in or take-away. The Noon menu evolves daily - expect bulging sandwiches in lovely artisan breads, fresh salads, hearty stews and warming soups - all cooked fresh. An affordable and fresh kids menu too.
As of Friday, they are also open evenings until 11 pm.
On tap are local craft beers, bitter and Crinkle Crankle Lager brewed especially for the venue, sitting alongside an imaginative wine list, a state of the art coffee machine and a full range of hot and cold soft drinks.
The menu draws on locally-sourced and seasonal produce, to offer delicious dishes throughout the day and evening nibbles, for all appetites and pockets. It's been a driving force of the plan to provide good honest food and good value to boot.
Ben said: "We moved to Neston seven years ago and instantly fell in love with the town. Since having children of our own we were keen to create something different for everyone. A peaceful hideout to the hustle and bustle you'd expect of a thriving hub."
Nicola added: "Since opening three weeks ago 'hub' is a word we've heard a lot and we think it suits the atmosphere of the space well.
"Every day we're meeting new people and hearing such lovely comments, and we're feeling a bit overwhelmed, to be honest."
