In an EMERGENCY, dial 999
The Control Centre receives emergency calls from a variety of sources, via telephone (both fixed and mobile), Automatic Fire Alarms systems (AFAs) and other sources. Fire Control Operators are highly trained staff who are taught how to get the information quickly and accurately from the caller.
All emergency and admin calls to the Centre are recorded. This is to allow the operator to double check any information they have been given and the recording can also be used for evidence in any prosecution, especially if the call is a malicious one.
In a non-Emergency situation, Cheshire Fire Service can be contacted as follows:
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service HQ
Telephone Number 01606 863518 or 01606 868795. Or send an email.
