Remembrance Sunday Parade takes place in Neston

Veterans, dignitaries and a crowd of onlookers braved the elements today for the Royal British Legion Remembrance Sunday Parade
Despite the cold and very wet conditions, a Parade of Veterans and members of the Cadets, Guides and Scouts marched through the Town Centre to a Remembrance Service at the Parish Church. Wreaths were then layed at the Cenotaph, led by local MP Andrew Miller and Mayor of Ellesmere Port and Neston, Keith Butcher.
Legion Members are also welcoming members of the public to join them on Tuesday 11th at Neston Cenotaph for the traditional Ceremony of Remembrance at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month on this the 90th anniversary of 1918.
