Are you interested in working with young people in the Neston area?
Neston based Synergy Development Training have secured funding from Cheshire West and Chester's Adult Learning department to deliver a six week training programme for anyone interested in volunteering or working with young people in Neston.
The programme will run on Tuesday Nights from 22nd February at Neston Community and Youth Centre from 6:00pm to 9:30pm.
Places on the course are limited, with approximately a third already filled. Course director Gareth Prytherch says: "We have 20 years experience of working with young people all over the UK and Europe and have spent the last six years working with adults who work with children and young people.
"We understand the needs of volunteers and organisations and we have brought all of this experience together to offer a programme that fits with our mission ‘to create training that is effective, innovative and engaging'"
More details on the content of the course can be found by downloading a leaflet here.
The training is free, but in order to gain hands-on experience to support their learning, course attendees will be expected to volunteer to work with any one of a variety of youth groups in the area.
For more information, please contact Gareth Prytherch on 07846 324223 or by email.
