The Parkgate Potato Mystery...

Neston & Parkgate Home Watch have been alerted to a series of strange incidents that have taken place along Parkgate Parade recently.
On a number of Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, between the hours of 7 and 10pm, large potatoes have been thrown through windows of premises along the Parade.
After one or two such incidents had been reported, local officers dropped flyers through neighbouring doors asking for information and were surprised to find that several other cases involving similar behaviour came to light that had not been previously reported to them.
At last night's Home Watch meeting PC Tom Grant and PCSO Linda Conway, attending on behalf of the Neston Community Policing team, stressed that it is vital that members of the public make their local officers aware of any criminal activity, however trivial it may appear, to enable them to act to prevent further incidents.
Local officers are actively investigating the recent damage caused in Parkgate, and appeal to anyone with any information to contact them as soon as possible.
