Woodfall Primary School has recently commissioned a pair of gates, designed by parent governor Graham Hogan and manufactured by Poplar Forge Fabrications.
Proudly sited at the pedestrian entrance to the school, the gates have been well received by pupils, parents, staff and the wider community.
The gates depict life at Woodfall and were funded by a grant and a generous donation from the Parents Association.
Headteacher John Toop says: "The new gates make a real statement about the quality of the school environment the children enjoy at Woodfall, and help to communicate the school's ethos to the local community.
"We are very grateful to everyone involved in making our plans a reality."
Pictured with the new gates are (l-r): John Toop, Headteacher, Mrs Hogan (wife of designer and memberof staff), pupils Nathan and Amy, Steve Gillard and Stuart Wilson from Poplar Forge Fabrications and Maryann Fewtrell, Chair of Woodfall's Parent Association.
