A stable of fillies from Neston are to take part in this year's Race For Life.

The 'Pink Fillies' are using the Brown Horse pub in Neston as their base, as they set out on their quest to raise money for Breast Cancer research.

Taking part are:

• Becky Lawrence
• Tracy Summers
• Hannah Skiffington
• Jan Skiffington
• Jan Myers
• Terri Leahy
• Rhona Matthews
• Tracey Fairhurst

As well as participating in the 5k or 10k run/walk on 10th July, the group are organising a number of fun events at the Brown Horse.  Everyone is welcome to come along and help raise money for this worthwhile cause.

Events taking place include:

The Big Bash - Sunday 29th May, 4.00pm onwards. BBQ, Quiz and Karaoke Auction (pay to sing, or pay not to!)

X Box Olympics - Thursday 7th July, races start at 8pm.

Hi,my name is RUTH PISAREK I did do the race for life, with my granddaughter, ELEANOR, I raised £350.00 and ELEANOR did £80.00 in total £430.00, we are very proud of are achivement, I could not find GILLs phone number, so we went on are own, we did it for my twin brother who has cancer of the stomach, they have removed his stomach and doing very well, david marshall keep fighting. ruth &eleanor, and thank everyone who sponcered us xx
