Record breaking GCSE results for Neston High

What better way to celebrate 50 years of learning at Neston High School than with record breaking GCSE results above the national average?
Steven Dool, Headteacher at Neston High School said, "I am delighted to congratulate our students on achieving outstanding and record-breaking results this year. This has been aided by students being encouraged to challenge themselves to achieve aspirational targets and going on to do so. Team GB has done outstandingly well in the Olympics and Team Neston (made up of students, parents and teachers) has done likewise locally!"
Most students will enrol in the 6th form at Neston High School where they will be able to choose from a wide variety of courses and will be joined by other students from across the area.

There was cause for celebration across the County, as 67.7% of Cheshire pupils achieved five or more A*-C grades compared to 64 percent last year.
The new total is also thought to have exceeded the national average.
Cheshire pupils attaining five or more A* to G grades has also increased, from 91.7% to 95.5%.
Executive Lead Member for Children's Services David Rowlands said: "A remarkable result and a fine tribute to the last complete year of one of England's leading Education Authorities."
Added County Councillor Rowlands: "My congratulations to everyone concerned. This tremendous achievement marks remarkable dedication and hard work from teachers and pupils."
