Aldi also donated items for the children to use during cookery lessons and after school baking sessions.

Rob Golding of Neston Primary School said, "We would like to thank Stuart and his colleagues for coming along and for their superb donation of equipment. We wish them well with the opening of their new store."

nice pics-but how many of the staff(pictured from the new aldi)actually live in neston? and why is it that my gut opinion says that nobody from our historic town has managed to gain any employment at the new aldi? if this is the case then i for one will not spend any of my money at aldi-if they can not even be bothered to employ neston people!!!! ALDI=WE WANT YOUR MONEY BUT WE DONT WANT YOUR PEOPLE!!

I believe the reason stores like Aldi start off with quite a few staff from a wider area is so that they have their own people in place for launching the store, people who are already experienced with the brand. They then recruit more locally as time goes on. But I'm also told that in fact there are some Neston people already employed. Perhaps we should all wait and see what its like when they open before starting to criticise so readily.
