Neston Primary parents and relatives spend an evening over the rainbow

Year 6 pupils at Neston Primary School, Burton Road put on a spectacular version of The Wizard of Oz for their parents and relatives recently.
The pupils, supported by members of staff, parents and friends of the school, produced a very memorable andf impressive show.
The audience were transported 'Over the Rainbow' for the evening and the show included, comedy, songs, street dance, music and special effects.
Mrs G O'Hara Year 6 teacher said "I was so proud of all of the children. They worked so hard to maintain the very high standard set by previous classes.
"The children and I are very grateful to everyone behind the scenes who helped with costumes, make-up, scenery, music and lighting."
Chloe Rudd, Year 6 pupil said -"Everyone took part and some of our class played several roles. I was delighted to be the scarecrow, but everyone was fantastic and we really did work as a team. The audiences were great too. We are so lucky to have been part of the show."
