Custom Triumph Bike Show in Neston - this Saturday
| Published: 27th July 2010 21:26 |
Would you like to see 20 customised versions of the largest mass produced motorcycle in the world, right here in Neston? Well on Saturday 31st July you will get the chance.
Triumph released their world beating Rocket 111 in 2004 and it still hasn't been bettered.
The Rocket 111 is a 2.3ltr. three cylinder monster which can out-accelerate almost anything on the planet short of an actual rocket!
Some of these beasts have been supercharged and can cover a standing quarter mile in under 10 seconds, going from 0 to 150mph in that time.
Paul Davies, owner of Bargain Booze and Director of NC&YC, has organised a gathering of fellow Triumph enthusiasts and Rocket 111 owners who have brought their customised bikes to Neston from all over the country.
As part of the gathering Paul has organised a Custom Bike Show between 10am and Noon on Saturday 31st July. You are all invited free of charge to view the bikes and your votes will dictate the winners. Everyone will be given a voting slip and you will be able to choose the bike you think is best in three categories, "Best Engineering", "Best Paint" and the prestigious "Best In Show" which will be the overall winner.
Bring the kids along, some of the guys will be allowing you to have your photos taken on the bikes. Linda Pelling will be on hand to take professional shots of you aboard the biggest bike in the world!!
Meanwhile, you can view photos of some of the bikes that will be on show this Saturday in our gallery below.
