Red Nose Day was widely celebrated and supported in Neston
Totally in keeping with the spirit of the day, here is a picture of Sainsbury's Neston store manager Tim Hassall (aka Timara, for one day only...) and trainee manager James Phillips. Surely, some sort of danger money must be paid! :

Sainsbury's raised more than £10 million nationwide. After removing his tights and mascara, Tim said: "The looks we got and the smiles we gave were just brilliant! All of us at the Neston store are proud to have been part of such a huge fundraising effort."
Meanwhile, elsewhere in Neston...
Neston Primary School
Roy Wilson, PR Ambassador for Sainsbury's Neston, went to Neston Primary school on Thursday, to help them bake cakes for Comic Relief, which the pupils then sold in the playground:

Head Teacher Rob Golding said: "Roy returned to the school on Friday to help the children to sell the cakes. The staff and children wore red clothing and decorated their hair with coloured sprays, ribbons and an assortment of unusual items.
"The money is still being collected, but the children have raised £359 so far."
The teacher in charge of fundraising, Miss S Jones, said: "We are delighted to have taken part in Red Nose Day. Our thanks to everyone who helped bake the cakes and bought them. It was a superb day."

As ever, fantastic photos from Neston Primary - thank you for sharing them with us.
Bishop Wilson Primary School, Burton
In Burton, all the children swapped uniform to come to school dressed as Pirates.
During the whole week the children had fundraising stalls, cake stalls etc. and raised £318.80 which they decided to split between Comic Relief and The Rock of Joy Trust.

If you've been fundraising this week for Comic Relief, please feel free to send us your photos and let us know how much you've raised.
