Neston pupils help to create unique mural

North Wales based graffiti artist Andy 'Dimeone' Birch organised an art workshop at Neston Primary School this week.
The children were taught how to create their own pieces of artwork on paper and asked to suggest ideas for a school mural. Andy then took the ideas and transformed a wall, which was looking a little the 'worse for wear.'
Pupils, parents and staff were fascinated to watch Andy work as he effortlessly created the unique mural. Andy frequently stopped to talk to the children about what he was doing and to ask for further ideas.
One pupil commented: "Andy is so talented and quick. He made it look easy, but I think it must be very difficult to paint like that."
Annabel Elliott (Deputy-Headteacher) said: "The finished mural is stunning. We hoped it would look good, but Andy exceeded our expectations. The children think the wall looks fantastic."
The finished mural, along with other projects completed at the school recently, will be on view to the community as Neston Primary throws open its doors on Wednesday May 18th between 3.30 and 7.00pm. More details here.
