Year 6 pupils at Neston Primary School maintained the very high standards set by previous pupils when they performed 'Oliver' recently.
The audience gave the cast a standing ovation and demanded "more!".
The show, which was an opportunity for every member of the Year 6 Class to showcase their talents, included dancing, singing, superb acting and the now expected sun glasses and pyrotechnics.
There were many, many positive comments made by the audience, including one parent who said: "I have seen the past five end of year plays and they just keep getting better and better. I really don't know how they do it."
Year Six teacher Gill O'Hara added: "We are so proud of the all of the children. They did a fantastic job. My thanks to the members of staff, friends of the school and relatives who helped to make the show possible, we could not have done it without them."
