The CH64 Events Group, led by CAN (Community Activities in Neston) needs more volunteers.

Over the past four and a half years the Group has brought you the Neston Christmas Festival, the CH64 Big Lunch, Rural Touring Network productions at Neston Civic Hall and more.
It's a lively and fun group to participate in, welcoming both individuals and representatives from local organisations.
The group has had several ideas for future events, but now needs fresh input from new people in order to take things further. Whether you have Event Management experience and would like to lead on a project (some paid work may be available for experienced co-ordinators), or just have an hour or so to hand out flyers, your help would be very welcome. Maybe you are an 'ideas person' or more 'hands on' - whatever you feel you can bring to the group, please come along and let us know.
You can make new friends and contacts, learn how community events get organised, pick up or share skills and maybe help to make an event happen that you've always wanted to see.
Meetings take place at Neston Community & Youth Centre once a month, lasting around 90 minutes. The next one is scheduled for Thursday July 12th at 10am. We'll be starting to discuss this year's Christmas Festival, looking at ways to improve on previous years, as well as looking ahead to 2013, to map out the events we can deliver for the benefit of the whole community.
If you would like to get involved, please contact either Eileen Miller or Zaria Shreef at CAN, tel: 0151 353 8638 or by email.
We look forward to seeing you!
