Police Patrols Stepped Up as Neston is Hit by a String of Burglaries

Cheshire Police are investigating a spate of burglaries which have been targeting community buildings in the Neston area.
There have been a number of break-ins in the town during the past week and police believe they may be related.
At 2.40am on 12th July, a burglary was committed at Parkgate Primary School in Brooklands Road. Two laptops were stolen after a window was broken with a brick to gain entry.
Between 9.45pm on 12th July and 11am on 13th July, Neston Christian Fellowship in Little Neston was broken into. Nothing was taken.
On 14th July, around 2am, a burglary was committed at Neston High School with a glass door smashed to gain entry. Food was stolen from the fridges.
Around 4.05am on 15th July, Ness Gardens were broken into and an air weapon is believed to have been stolen.
A burglary was also committed at the allotments on Raby Park Road with several sheds broken into.
Police are taking this matter very seriously and have increased night patrols of the area accordingly.

Carrie Spacey"On Friday 20th July, following the execution of a warrant, a 37 year old male from the Neston area was arrested on suspicion of committing a burglary at Neston High School between 13th and 14th July.
"The male has been police bailed pending further enquiries."
Carrie Spacey"During the early hours of Monday 23rd July, four males aged between 18 and 31 years of age, all from the Merseyside area, where arrested by Cheshire officers on suspicion of the attempted theft of a motor vehicle from the Willaston area during the previous half hour.
"All four males have been police bailed pending the outcome of forensic enquiries."
