Olympics 2012 - full competition schedule and ticket information released

With only one month to go until ticket applications open on 15 March 2011, the full competition schedule for the London 2012 Olympic Games has been released.

Now is the time to start planning your Games and get ready to apply for tickets to the greatest show on earth!

You can view the full event details for each session, by sport, as well as all ticket prices and ticket limits. Please be aware that the team draws cannot be announced until 2012 when all qualifying events are complete, so at this stage it is not possible to say which countries will play when and where.

You are advised to take time to consider your budget, bearing in mind that should you be allocated tickets for the sessions you apply for, you will be committed to buying all the tickets.

There is no advantage to submitting your application on the first day or the last day.  Payments will be taken between 10th May and 10th June 2011 and you will be notified whether you have been allocated tickets by 24th June 2011.

Remember that Visa (credit, debit or prepaid) will be the only payment method accepted for online applications. Cheques and postal orders are also accepted for applications submitted using the form included in the official ticketing guide. 

Applications for Paralympic Games tickets will open on 9th September, and follow a similar sales process. Tickets for the London 2012 Festival (as part of the Cultural Olympiad) will go on sale in October 2011.
