Neston's Chris Morley Closes in on 100mph Aintree Lap

It is turning into a great season for local motorcycle racer Chris Morley, competing on BMW's Superbike entry, the S1000RR and supported by Bargain Booze (Little Neston & Pensby) and other brands.
The Neston racer has beaten leading riders in 2011 and is steadily moving up the rankings, seen here last time out on his way to 7th in the Aintree Powerbike final.
Chris now has his sights set on lapping at an average speed of 100mph when he returns for the final round of the Aintree Motorcycle Racing Championships on Saturday 17th September.
Only five riders have ever achieved a 100mph lap of the former F1 race circuit. Chris says: "I would like to be the sixth and with the changes made to the bike since the last round I think its possible."
Another good result at Aintree will be good preparation for the televised Thundersport GB round at Oulton Park on the weekend of 7-8th October.
