19 Oct 2017 - Community Superfast Broadband Meeting
|Published: 4th October 2017 10:56|
A community initiative has been formed to bring real superfast fibre broadband to Burton, Capenhurst, Ledsham, Ness, Puddington, Shotwick, Two Mills and Woodbank next year.
In September, BT Openreach informed Puddington Parish Council that the area is 'not commercially viable for investment' and 'we may all have superfast (10Mbps) by 2020'. So, a group of local people have decided to do it themselves, partnering with internet provider B4RN.org.uk (Broadband for the Rural North).
Your support is needed, so please come along to a meeting to be held on Thursday 19th October, 7.30pm at Gladstone Village Hall, Burton, CH64 5TH.
You'll hear from the Chief Executive of B4RN and learn more about this fantastic way for you to get superfast fibre to your home for just £30 per month and to your business for just a little more.
