Order Now! Local, Traditional Wirral Turkey and Trimmings for Christmas
|Published: 3rd October 2017 11:34|
Traditional Wirral Turkeys have been producing top quality local free range turkeys for over 30 years, at their farm in Willaston.
Wirral Black, Bronze and White turkeys are available to be the centrepiece of your Christmas dinner this year.
Great care is taken in the rearing of the range. Sally Lee, owner of Traditional Wirral Turkeys explains: "All our Turkeys are bred and reared locally and are grown slowly to full maturity and prime condition. Free to roam, they eat natural vegetation and grass along with a ration containing at least 70% cereal with no animal protein or other growth promoters.
"More and more people are looking to rediscover locally produced traditional qualities in the food they eat and avoid the bland results of mass production."
It's not just the turkey...
Also available are gammon, sausages and bacon from Gloucester Old Spot pigs farmed at Leahurst Farm in Willaston.
Plus, a range of 'Extras' supplied by The Butcher's Wife, including stuffings and sauces, gluten-free & vegetarian options. Natural ingredients, quality and flavour are just a few of the traditional values attributed to this delicious range of homemade extras.
New for 2017...
A very special homemade damson gin Christmas pudding and homemade brandy butter.
Picking up your turkey is an event in itself. Traditional Wirral Turkeys host collection parties from 9am to 6pm on Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd December from 9am to 6pm, when you will be treated to mince pies and a glass of sherry.
