Have you got your copy yet stocks are running low for this local charity calendar
I spoke to Karen Udall to find out what inspired them to do this.
The calendar is a group of Hilton mums, daughters and friends who wanted to do something to raise money for two very worthy causes, the first is a six year girl who has terminal cancer the money raised will enable her to swim with dolphins in Florida.It was first discovered she had cancer after she had knocked her leg at school her parents took her to the doctors and were told not to worry, but after her fourth visit she was refereed to the hospital were tests revealed the cancer.
She has undergone extensive treatment including chemotherapy but sadly this has not worked and the cancer has spread. This trip to Florida is something for her to look forward to.
The money is also helping a friend of the girls called Mark fondly referred to as hoppy.Mark had a motorbike accident and lost his leg to date he has undergone twenty one operations and now may have to have more of his leg amputated as the false leg is causing more damage to the stump. Money raised will go towards the purchase of a special prosthetic leg.
