NSPCC and ChildLine

The NSPCC's purpose is to end cruelty to children.
It's vision is of a society where all children are loved, valued and able to fulfil their potential.
The chairty seeks to achieve cultural, social and political change - influencing legislation, policy, practice, attitudes and behaviours and delivering services for the benefit of children.

The NSPCC Child Protection Helpline - 0808 800 5000 - for people with concerns about a child's wellbeing, and ChildLine - 0800 1111 - which offers confidential advice to children in distress or danger, operate for free, 24-hours a day.
