Did you know that the Castle Donington & District Volunteer Centre had their 30th Anniversay in 2005! What a fantastic achievement for this local registered charity.
Their office is located right in the heart of Castle Donington just off Borough Street and provide our community with volunteers, information, advice and assistance to anyone who needs help. Did you know that they are our local Citizens Advice Bureau!
The catchment area of Castle Donington, Kegworth, Long Whatton, Diseworth, Lockington, Hemington, Breedon-on-the-Hill, Tonge, Wilson and Isley Walton means they reach a population of around 13,000 people and are always on the look-out for volunteers who can provide a wide variety of services.

For instance, they operate the Castle Donington Community Bus Scheme which has been running since 1992. You must have seen them around!
